WEB-Based Validation Programdescription

The Datapark web-based validation system provides an easy-to-access and convenient way to apply discounts to transient parkers without any additional hardware like DP400 hand punchers, DP1350 merchant discount validators, etc..

A dedicated WEB server is used for hosting the Datapark Web application which can be accessed by any Web Browser enabled device (desktop PC, laptops, mobile phones, etc). This publicity accessible WEB server is connected to Datapark DP11000 parking servers.

-The validated tickets are stored in DP11000 SQL database.

- Upon validation the parker ticket number is verified against the SQL database.

- The discount is immediately applied upon approval.

- The rest of the parking fee can be satisfied by various payment methods provided by the garage operator - in cash, by credit card, by applying additional discount coupons, etc

Validating a ticket via a WEB portal follows the next steps:

Merchant’s operators log into Datapark WEB site and enter an individual username and password. Each merchant is assigned a unique Merchant ID associated with the merchant operators user names.

The operator enters the customer magstripe entry ticket number as printed on the paper ticket. The operator selects a discount to be applied, for example - $5.0 or 2 hours free or 100% discounting When the ticket is presented to the exit verifier, pay on foot or cashier station, the DP11000 PARCS captures the information on the merchant, discount type and automatically applies the discount. Merchants are provided with detailed reporting on the discounts programmed – operator details, ticket details, date/time etc. and the actual discount usage at the garage – date/time when the discount was used, the discounted amount, ticket details, etc.
